The Director, Project Management & Client Coverage is the client-facing owner of implementation and ongoing delivery for our banking and fintech clients. You'll run point on complex, large-scale digital banking, card & payments platform rollouts, owning scope, timeline, risk, and cross-functional coordination. Once a client is live, you'll own the ongoing relationship: running the operating cadence, tracking portfolio health, and translating client needs into structured input for the roadmap. You are a senior level, high-energy, individual contributor.
This role is ideal for client-facing leaders who combine analytical rigor with relationship strength and want direct impact on client outcomes and portfolio growth.
A trusted client-facing leader with 5-7+ years' experience across consulting & project management with a strong enterprise relationship management background.
Skilled at engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex, large-scale implementations.
For new client implementations:
Own day-to-day execution of complex, large-scale digital banking, card & payments platform implementations.
Managing scope, timeline, risk, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on time and produce a client experience strong enough to become a reference.
Build and personally run the minimum-viable process a required for multi-workstream implementation: status cadence, RAID log, decision log. A bias toward pragmatic, minimum-viable process over heavyweight frameworks is essential.
Own all client-facing status communication, from weekly detail to executive summary, translating engineering and product progress into business terms.
Keep ownership of every open item unambiguous, internally and with the client.
With our existing clients:
Own coverage for several existing clients: build and grow relationships across a portfolio of banks and fintechs.
Run the operating cadence for each account: QBRs, roadmap check-ins, prioritization sessions. You pull in product and engineering leads to weigh in on feasibility and sequencing, while you own the agenda, follow-through, and client narrative.
Track portfolio health (KPIs, adoption, satisfaction, support/escalation trends) and turn it into a clear read-out for internal teams and clients. You will flag risk early and package client feedback into structured input for product prioritization.
Maintain a single source of truth per account: health status, open commitments, roadmap asks, key contacts
Lead post-incident or post-issue reviews with clients, translating technical root cause into a business-appropriate explanation and forward-looking action plan.
Proven ability to build and deepen client trust & relationships in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Strong track record of building operating rhythms with clear accountability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, not just running pre-existing processes.
Exceptionally strong written & verbal communication skills, ability to communicate in a structured, succinct, executive ready way.
Comfortable working through day-to-day delivery blockers and communicating status and risk to executive and board-level audiences.
Strong analytical and critical thinking, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
Comfort working closely with Product and Engineering teams, with data, reporting, and portfolio analytics.
Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and a drive to deliver results.
Experience managing credit card or lending portfolios at a bank, issuer, or fintech.
Consulting background with financial services clients.
Experience working with AI/LLMs and collaborating closely with technical teams.

Compensation: CA $120,000-160,000+.
Base salary range: For this role, candidates can expect a base salary range, described in the posting. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the top of the range, and pay increases for those who make a big impact in the role.
